West Country Hawks

West Country Hawks Wheelchair Rugby Club was founded in Plymouth in 2011 to provide an on-going resource for the local disabled community though enabling access to the sport of Wheelchair rugby From small beginnings, but always with the goal of inspiring people across the South West to get out and try something new, whatever their physical ability, we now have around 20 regular playing members.

The physical and mental health benefits of participating in a team sport are of benefit to all members and the club also provides access to competition at the highest levels, as over the years the team have won promotion to the Premier League and also play in the top league of the 5s game variant. Training takes place weekly in Plymouth (Monday evening) and Exeter (Saturday morning) and is open to all who want to try the sport of Wheelchair Rugby.
